I’m Italian, so I naturally love pasta. My husband, however, tires of it more quickly, so when this easy slow cooker pasta-friendly recipe arrived as a Fun with Food Friday submission, I had to try it.

This straightforward slow cooker recipe is quick to assemble and yields a creamy, savory sauce that the whole family will enjoy. Serve it over your favorite pasta for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
- 1 packet zesty Italian salad dressing seasoning
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker. If you prefer, cut the cream cheese into chunks so it melts evenly.
- Cook on low for about four hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Shred or slice the chicken in the sauce and serve over cooked pasta. Toss to coat the pasta in the creamy Italian sauce.
