The last few days I’ve been out of the loop, feeling like I was twenty steps behind because of issues with my work machine. Our desktop functions, but it won’t serve my clients or support many of the tasks I need to complete.
So it’s time to get back to business — back to working on the blog, getting real work done, and finding ways to save money.
As I mentioned in my last post, there are still a lot of changes coming. Some updates were delayed by those technical problems.
To kick things off again, I want to talk about websites. Why mention sites? Many blogs, including this one, regularly recommend websites worth joining because they can offer valuable perks — sometimes even free full-size products.
When you join any website, make sure it’s a source you can trust. I won’t recommend a site I haven’t personally tested or signed up for. If I don’t like a service, you won’t see it here.
Tonight I’ll highlight one of my favorites: Vocalpoint.
Vocalpoint is a site I’ve joined and enjoyed. They share offers, surveys, and opportunities to try products. So far I’ve received a free bottle of coffee creamer, Downy Unstopables, and I recently requested a free bag of salad mix. None of those items cost me anything, and they were full-size products.

If you haven’t joined yet, take a minute to sign up. If you want to try free salad, look for the Vocalpoint logo and follow the instructions — it’s straightforward.
A quick note: not every offer is available in every area. Still, I haven’t heard of anyone being outright declined on this platform.
I enjoy being a part of Vocalpoint. You simply respond to their emails, click through and fill out short forms to claim items. There aren’t unnecessary hoops to jump through, which makes it a great place to start if you’re looking for free or discounted products.
