I stick to simple, easy desserts, and this Reese’s Cup Dip is about as effortless as they come.
I enjoy cooking but I’m not much of a baker, so this is the perfect no-bake dessert to bring to a gathering.
The sweet peanut-butter flavor with crunchy pretzels creates a delicious salty-sweet contrast that both kids and adults loved at a recent party where I served it.
How to Make Reese’s Cup Dip
Bring an 8-ounce block of cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of butter to room temperature. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter with 1 cup smooth peanut butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
I tested these proportions several times with family taste-tests; this version got the best feedback. Use a hand mixer to blend the mixture for about one minute until smooth and well combined.

Fold in most of 10 chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with a spoon, reserving a few pieces to sprinkle on top as a garnish.

Chop up a few more to garnish the top and serve with pretzels for dipping
This dip is easiest to scoop and enjoy at room temperature. If you chill it beforehand, remove it from the fridge about an hour before serving so it softens and becomes more dippable.
