Honey Soy Pork Tenderloin is one of those effortless dinners my whole family loves.
It’s a throw-everything-in-the-slow-cooker recipe: mix the sauce, add the pork, set the timer, and come back to a flavorful, tender main course. That simplicity makes it perfect for busy weeknights or casual entertaining.

Friends always ask for this recipe and are surprised at how easy it is. They often say, “That’s it?”

Even though it’s simple, the combination of honey, soy, garlic, and a touch of ginger delivers big flavor and a remarkably tender pork tenderloin every time.

I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does.

Here’s my simple Honey Soy Pork Tenderloin recipe.

Honey Soy Pork Tenderloin Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup chicken stock or broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey

- 2 cloves minced garlic (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
- pinch ground ginger
- pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 (2 1/2 – 3) pound pork tenderloin
Instructions
-
Spray the slow cooker insert with nonstick cooking spray.
-
In a small bowl or a 2-cup measuring cup, whisk together the olive oil, chicken stock, soy sauce, honey, seasoning, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
-
Place the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker and pour the mixture over it. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, until the pork is tender. Remove, slice, and spoon some of the cooking liquid over the meat when serving.

Update: Some readers reported the pork turned out dry in earlier versions. I retested and added 1 cup chicken broth to the sauce. The result is reliably tender pork with a milder honey-soy flavor. If you prefer the stronger honey-soy profile from the earlier version, simply omit the chicken stock and follow the rest of the recipe as written.
